🌟 Our Mission (आमचे ध्येय)

वेलिंग्टन मराठी शाळेचे ध्येय म्हणजे मराठी भाषा आणि संस्कृतीचा अमूल्य वारसा नव्या पिढीपर्यंत प्रेमपूर्वक, शिकण्यास प्रेरणा देणाऱ्या आणि अर्थपूर्ण पद्धतीने पोहोचवणे.
आम्ही मुलांच्या ज्ञानाबरोबरच त्यांच्या व्यक्तिमत्त्वाची, आत्मविश्वासाची आणि नैतिक मूल्यांची जडणघडण घडविण्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो. त्यामुळे आम्ही केवळ भाषा शिकवत नाही, तर प्रत्येक मुलाला त्यांच्या मराठी मुळांशी भावनिक व सांस्कृतिकदृष्ट्या जोडणारा मजबूत आधार देतो.

आमचे ध्येय आहे की मुलांनी वाचन, लेखन, श्रवण आणि संभाषण कौशल्यात प्रगती करताना मराठी संस्कृती, परंपरा आणि वारसा यांची ओळख आनंदाने आणि सक्रिय सहभागातून घ्यावी. यासाठी आम्ही गोष्टी, गाणी, संवाद, सण-उत्सव, कला, नृत्य, लोककथा आणि सर्जनशील उपक्रमांचा उपयोग करतो—जे शिकण्याची गोडी, उत्सुकता आणि आनंद वाढवतात.

आमची शाळा सुरक्षित, सकारात्मक आणि प्रेरणादायी वातावरण निर्माण करण्यास कटिबद्ध आहे, जिथे अनुभवी आणि प्रेमळ शिक्षक प्रत्येक मुलाच्या गतीनुसार त्यांना प्रोत्साहन देतात.
पालकांसोबत घनिष्ठ संवाद राखणे, मुलांच्या प्रगतीची जवळून काळजी घेणे आणि त्यांच्या गरजांनुसार शिक्षण पद्धतीत बदल करणे—हे आमच्या मिशनचा अविभाज्य भाग आहे.

वेलिंग्टनमधील मराठी समुदायाला एकत्र आणणे आणि भाषा-संस्कृतीचा वारसा पुढील पिढ्यांपर्यंत पोहोचवणे हे आमचे सततचे प्रयत्न आहेत. आमचा ठाम विश्वास आहे की भाषा म्हणजे फक्त संवाद माध्यम नसून—ती ओळख, संस्कृती आणि मुळांची सुंदर जपणूक आहे .

The mission of Wellington Marathi School is to lovingly pass on the priceless heritage of the Marathi language and culture to the next generation in an inspiring and meaningful way.  

We believe in nurturing not only children’s knowledge, but also their personalities, self-confidence, and moral values. Therefore, we do not just teach a language; we provide every child with a strong foundation that connects them emotionally and culturally to their Marathi roots.  

Our aim is to develop children’s skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Marathi, while fostering awareness and joyful participation in Marathi culture, traditions, and heritage. For this, we use stories, songs, conversations, festivals, arts, dance, folk tales, and creative activities—making learning engaging, exciting, and enjoyable.  

We are committed to creating a safe, positive, and inspiring environment in our school. Experienced and dedicated teachers encourage each student according to their individual abilities. Understanding each child’s interests, strengths, and needs, and adapting teaching methods accordingly, is an important part of our mission.  

Wellington Marathi School serves as a unifying platform for the Marathi community in Wellington and works continuously to pass on our linguistic and cultural heritage to future generations. We believe that language is not merely a means of communication—it is a beautiful expression of identity, culture, and values.
